We, the team, welcome you whole heartedly to the Huiba Hitte. To ensure the best culinary experience we use regional products with short transport routes and some goods we produce at our home farm, the Huiba Hof in Mitterolang.
Come in and take a seat on our cozy terrace and in our dining rooms. Let yourself be served and pampered with hearty dishes and drinks. Under the motto “simple and good”, our kitchen team creates refined meals from high-quality and regional products. We are particularly pleased to be able to use our own farm products such as our beef and potatoes.

The „Huiba“ hut is located at 1800 m on the side of Valdaora of the Plan de Corones with six hectares of meadows. It has been owned by the Pörnbacher - Huber family from Olang for 70 years. In the first 50 years, the then so called Ruipa "Albl" was leased and in 1998 it was rebuilt under the name "Huber Alm".
Some of our cows and young cattle graze on the ski slopes during the summer months. In winter, the alp was leased and used as a ski hut. In 2022 we took over the hut ourselves as a family and run it under our farm name "Huiba".
